What is Central Vac
System
A vacuum unit
is placed at a convenient location in a premises (normally where you
keep DG set, compressor, etc.) and pipes are run from the central unit
to various parts of the premises.
'Socket
points' are provided on the wall or floor, at strategic locations so
that all the area required to be cleaned can be approached with the help
of a flexible hose of adequate length (normally between 3 to 10 m).
When a hose is
connected to a socket the central unit automatically starts working.
So there is no
need to haul in a big mobile vacuum cleaner. The central vac is
ever ready.
Santoni's
Central vac systems have so many built-in features that these machines
can even be used non-stop round the clock. |
CENTRAL VACUUM CLEANING SYSTEMS (CVCS)
Central Vacuum cleaning
systems offer several advantages over mobile vacuum cleaners, such as
following:
-
The exhaust air of Central vacs is thrown
out - reducing cost of expensive secondary filters.
-
Central vacs are ever ready.
-
There is no capacity constraint as the
central unit is stationary
-
The mobile vacs bring some contaminants
with them.
-
Central vacs can be used for lifting bulk
materials spilled on floor/machines & the material can be separated
anywhere.
-
Vacuum of central vac can be used for some
other process applications.
-
Handling of wastes can be made very easy.
-
Noise of the vac does not disturb.
