HVC-3

A range of heavy-duty industrial vacuum cleaners that can be run virtually non-stop round the clock.

Available in a range of 4 models, i.e. HVC-3, HVC-5, HVC-7.5 & HVC-10, and with exceptional features such as very large filter area and external filter shaking device, etc. these machines are meant for industry where cleaning is done under tough conditions for long working hours. Adaptability with ULTRA Filters.

For the industry that requires heavy-duty continuous rating industrial vacuum cleaners SANTONI offers a full range of machines that are not only rugged and virtually maintenance-free, but also perform like untiring work horses.

In the industry where the conditions are either hazardous or require non-stop or long hours of cleaning ordinary vacuum cleaners based on high RPM universal motors can not foot the bill. Take for example LPG cylinders manufacturers, who have to clean the interior of the LPG cylinders - each one of them - day in and day out, no ordinary solution would work. These LPG cylinder manufacturers have found the right answer - SANTONI’s HVC range of vacuum cleaners.

There are many other examples but probably none may match your set of conditions. It is, therefore, imperative that you discuss your requirements with one of the application engineers of SANTONI and let him suggest to you a model that exactly meets your requirements. It is possible that you may be having either a very large floor area, or bulk handling of materials is the underlined performance factor, but, rest assured, SANTONI has a solution for you. Try it.

BASED ON TWIN-LOBE BLOWERS

SANTONI’s HVC’s are based on 3-Phase induction motor run ‘twin-lobe blowers’ . These three phase induction motors are the same kinds which are used as prime movers in most of the industrial equipment and plants. They can be used continuously - virtually non-stop for ever and they require minimal maintenance. Moreover, there are no inherrent sparks - as is the case with universal motors used in ordinary vacuum cleaners - eleminating any fire hazards (this is valid specifically for those industries where thinners, inflamable gases, petro-products, etc. are used).

The twin-lobe blowers are positive-displacement blowers offering almost straight-line ‘air-flow-vs-pressure’ graph, which, in simple words, means that they do not loose pressure when higher air-flow is extracted or they do not choke when higher pressure is used. This makes these blowers ideal for industrial applications requiring deeper penetration or cleaning of narrower spaces

The HVCs have special built-in protection for the twin-lobe blowers and the mdoes not allow any dust above 100 microns to enter the blower in case the main filter of the unit gets damaged or operator forgets to fit it after cleaning.

There is a safety-valve which ensures that the motor is never over-loaded if the system is choked for some reason - as the blower is a positive displacement system as explained earlier

The HVCs have a cyclone-effect prefilteration system - to ensure that the main filter of the unit encounters only 15% of the total dust picked-up by the unit. Due to this cyclone effect prefilter the main filter remains unchoked and the machine gives its best performance for longer periods.HVC-10 (Stationary Version)

The main filter is made out of synthetic permanent filter media. This has a very long life and does not react with alkaline or acidic materials. The area of the filter is very large - again a factor that ensures high performance and reduces chances of choking.

The twin-lobe blower is further supported by a silencer to reduce the noise-level of the unit - which is under 73 db.

While HVC-3 is a single user-point machine and the HVC-7.5 is a double user-point machine, HVC-5 can be used both as a single point and double point machine.

OPTIONAL WET/DRY INTERCEPTORS

Special types of mobile/stationary interceptors are available which can be used with HVC series vacuum cleaners for wet cleaning, removing liquids, removing bulk quantities of solids or where certain materials have to be collected separately (because they are expensive or they are not to be mixed with other materials).
