This is true work-horse for large engineering industry where floors get covered with thick layers of impacted oil/grease/dirt.

Oftentimes several crude methods are employed by the industry to clean such floors - such as scrapping by hand, use of saw dust and diesel, high pressure water jet cleaners, etc.

Here is a machine that covers 800 mm wide band with spring wire brushes and scarifies the floor in one go.  This operation can be done dry or wet depending upon the need.
